Voicemail notifications

By default, you will be alerted to a voicemail by the red light on the phone handset or a notification through the WebEx App.  Users can also turn on email or text notification when a voicemail is received.

 

To turn on one of  these notifications, follow these steps:

  1. Login to user.webex.com **There are many settings on this page that a user can modify, please do not change anything that has not been directed by IT or documented in a KB article. 
  2. Enter your sctech email address and password
  3. Click on Settings > Calling > Voicemail
    1. scroll down to Notifications
    2. Click the toggle to turn on notifications
    3. Select email or text message
    4. Changes should be saved automatically.  
  4. The next time you receive a voicemail, you will recieve an email or text notification. 

 

NOTE:  There is an option to email a copy of the voicemail to your inbox.  This is turned off by default.  When this feature is enabled, listening to the voicemail within email will NOT reset the voicemail notification on your phone or in the email app.
